Vincent Noiret taught himself guitar and bass before to study jazz with Natalie Loriers and Pierre Vandormael at the Conservatoire de Namur where he joined the Big Band de Namur. He has also a classical training in double bass and won the prize of the Sabam and best young band of the Europe Jazz Contest de Hoeilaart.

In 1996, he entered Bart De Nolf‘s class at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and began to multiply his projects and diversify his horizons. He performed alongside Alexis Tuomarila at the Europ Jazz Contest in Hoeillaert, where they won several prizes (4th overall, SABAM prize and best young group).

It was in traditional music that he subsequently made his name, taking part in numerous projects with some of the most renowned musicians on the Belgian scene: Didier Laloy, Luc Pilartz, Pascal Chardome, Jowan Merckx, Ialma, Photis Ionatos, Steve Houben, Ghalia Benali, etc.

In 1999 he formed the group Tricycle with accordionist Tuur Florizoone and clarinettist Kurt Budé, later replaced by Philippe Laloy. They released several albums: Orange for tea, King size, Queskia and Zoom, and toured in Belgium and abroad (Germany, Netherlands, France, Brazil, China, Vietnam, etc.).

In 2010, he recorded his first album under his own name, Facing the Ghost, co-produced by RTBF (Didier Mélon – Le Monde est un Village). In 2016, he released his second album, Inside Journey, the fruit of research into the profound effects and relationships that can exist between music, the body and the mind. Today, he continued to create more personal works, taking part in the Nisia project as a duo with Sicilian singer and percussionist Emanuela Lodato. Together they recorded their first album, Eredità, released in January 2014 on Homerecords, and toured as a duo and quartet in Belgium, France and Italy. In 2017, they released their second album, Pandora e cumpagnia. In 2022, their third album, Li pedi, was released, with a focus on dance and in particular the folk ball, blending the rhythms and steps of dances found at home and in southern Italy.

Since 2004, he has collaborated regularly with Ghalia Benali on various projects. First came Roméo et Leila, released in 2006, followed by Ghalia sings Oum Kalthoum, released in 2010. They are currently preparing a second album dedicated to Oum Kalthoum, for which they are also working with Egyptian, Tunisian and Iraqi musicians.
