Bijan Chemirani (* 1979 ) is a French percussionist of Iranian origin. He received his first zarb at the age of seven from his father Djamchid Chemirani. He then tried his hand at the kamantsche, the piano and the accordion, before finally returning to the zarb. He was tutored by his father and his older brother Keyvan Chemirani, with whom he has formed the Trio Chemirani since 1999 . FULL BIOGRAPHY
